Caroline grew up
in
St-Etienne
,
France
, not far from
Lyon
, the daughter of two music teachers. When it became clear that she would not
carry on the family tradition in music, her true passion surfaced: Art and
Architecture.
Caroline has a
Bachelor's in Art History (with an emphasis in French and Italian Architecture)
and a Master's in Museology, both from the Ecole du Louvre in
Paris
. She spent six years on staff at
Versailles
and has given tours at the Louvre, the Palais du Luxembourg and the
Loire
Valley
chateau of Azay-le-Rideau. Her tours, in English, French, Italian and German
were given to private individuals as well as groups, including everyone from
Italian tourists to NYFD Firefighters and French medical conventioneers to
German school children.
Since moving to
the
United States
in 2004 she has been Assistant Director of a small Impressionist art gallery,
and the Manager of a French Antique store. She has also done consulting and
given a number of lectures on
Versailles
. She currently lives in
Atlanta
,
GA.
